The Type 2 DIY Detail 5 Year Ceramic coating gives insane gloss, slickness, and ease of maintenance will be yours for 5 years with our easy-to-apply ceramic coating. This high-tech ceramic composite coating combines silicon dioxide (Si02), SiN, SiC and Polysilazane to give you durable hydrophobic ceramic protection. We have a new instant bond technology, taking the guesswork out of leveling. And you can wash with DIY Detail Incredible Suds or DIY Detail Rinseless Wash after 3 days of application. Vehicle can be driven 1 hour after application either rain or shine.

Note: Please apply in a well ventilated and wear a mask if needed.  

How to Apply Ceramic Coating:

• Start with a clean and dry surface. 
• Wipe down with DIY Detail panel prep or C6 Adhesion Promoter Polish (APP). 
• Wearing gloves, in a well-ventilated area, apply several drops to the applicator pad. 
• Working in a circular motion apply the DIY Detail Ceramic Coating to a small area ( a front fender for example). 
• Allow to dwell 2-5 minutes ( dwell time is dependent on temperature and humidity).
• Observe the surface, as the coating begins to cross link to the paint, the coating will transition from a liquid to what looks like an oil slick on water. 
• When 50% of the surface turns back to clear, start leveling the coating.
• With our Level One towel, lightly wipe the surface, if the towel is dragging, or is getting wet, wait 1 min more. 
• Once the coating is leveled, use a Freebird 400 to buff and remove high spots.

• in2Detailing offers free Next Day Delivery for all orders over £60 within the UK Mainland.  Orders under £60 will be subject to a carriage charge unless otherwise specified.  Carriage options and prices will be displayed at checkout (please see below for more information on services offered).  Cut off for Mainland UK Next Working Day Delivery is 12pm (Monday to Friday).

• Our Next Working Day Delivery is applicable Monday to Friday with orders placed on Friday, or after the cut-off on Thursday, due to arrive on Monday.  Orders placed after the cut-off on Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be SHIPPED on Monday to arrive on Tuesday.  We do not currently offer a Saturday delivery option.

• Our Courier Delivery Service is NOT A GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY SERVICE.  Although couriers deliver over 95% of orders the next working day, we cannot guarantee every order will be received the Next Working Day.  Postal charge refunds will NOT be issued for delays caused by Couriers. 

• Royal Mail Tracked 48 is quoted by Royal Mail as being a 2 Day Delivery Service.  Please note - THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED.  Royal Mail Tracked 24 is quoted by Royal Mail as being a Next Day Delivery Service, again, THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED

• Orders outside the UK, but within Europe, will be charged a flat rate of £20.00 per order.  WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT SHIPPING TO EUROPE.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

• Carriage to Northern Ireland is displayed at checkout and will vary depending of the weight of the order.

• We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of being placed.

• Carriage cost for all delivery options includes insurance for loss or damage in transit.

• Please ensure you have supplied us with a valid e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and contact you to assist you in monitoring it's progress.

• If your delivery can be left with a neighbour or in a safe place by your property, please advise us when placing your order and adding the appropriate door number or location in the "special delivery instruction section". Please note that we do not take responsibility for any packages that are left safe or with a neighbour.
